On 8th October 1999 Mr. Justice Burton refused to accept that the previous Judge may have been 'Biased', his reason, "that it happened, was past, and therefore irrelevant, it does not matter that the accused and Judge were friends, and had had lunch together prior to the hearing.” ^[42]

Listed for 2 hours, but Lord Justice Rose said I could only have 20 minutes and pulled the trick that, ‘they had lost my bundles,’ but I had extra ones in anticipation.  They ruled there had been ‘no bias or impropriety by the Magistrate.
