Against a Bank of Scotland loan of 17,000 pounds and elderly man who now needs to go into a rest home is being asked for 77,000 plus the original loan before he is able to sell his home in order to pay for his care in the last years of his life. The bank are taking no responsibility in this matter and continue to enforce their interpretation of the letter of the SAM contract.
