Also Mugged Having seen the BBC Watchdog Programm this week, and followed the website leads, I wish to add my support and join your action group. My husband and I took out a Shared Appreciation Mortgage with the Bank of Scotland in January 1997. We took out a mortgage of approximately 60 % on which we pay an interest rate of 5.75%. Whilst we have no desire to sell, there are clauses in the contract that are of concern to us, particularly with regard to the maintenance of the property. We will be grateful to receive any information and will wholly endorse any action that will make the Bank look at the way this mortgage has operated. |
