Out of Control HI, Just like to say,you are doing a good job in bringing to the peoples attention the day light robbery of S. A. M .S. I was one of the gulible ones! I was never told that the Mortgage would run out of control if values increased, not by the bank, or solicitor. My Mortgage loan was Ł17,000 = 20% of value ie: Ł85,000. Now the property is valued at Ł190,000, this is Ł105,000 over original valuation in 1998. Now it means if I move I will pay back 20% of Ł105,000,X3 IE = 60%, Total Ł63,000 + Ł17,000 original loan = Ł 80,000. My Wife and I would like move to a smaller dwelling as we are now both over 70 to make for a easier life. But can not now afford to move, no thanks to Barclays!!. I have sent my registeration form plus Ł10.00. Good luck to you, hope you can bring some sense to the whole sordid affair. |
