Trapped My father took out a SAM02 with bank of Scotland on 22 may 97 (More than 6 years!). He received an advance of Ł18,250 on a valuation of Ł75,000. My father died 4 years ago. The bungalow is now valued at Ł180,000. My mother is now unable to sell the house for something more suitable to her advancing years as the balance of the proceeds after repaying the loan would not buy another property |
