SAFE Meeting in Palace of Westminster 18th November. E-mail

SAFE, Secretariat to the APPG Against Financial Exploitation, has arranged a meeting on Tuesday 18th November in Committee Room 14 at 2-30 pm in the Palace of Westminster to explain to MPs the gravity of the Legal Opinion, which was sponsored by SAFE/ SAMAG to investigate the legality of Shared Appreciation Mortgages. We are inviting our members to attend the meeting in order to lobby their MPs, we will also give a progress report and take questions.

SAFE – (Struggle Against Financial Exploitation Ltd.), through its solicitor Hilary Messer of rwp solicitors instructed an eminent QC who was retained to do a opinion on all of their combined research into the product, the opinion which is very positive, resulted in meetings during August and September at Chambers in London, with SAFE, SAMAG, Hilary Messer and Tim Maltin Public Relations, (who were retained to promote the proposed Group Action through SAFE and in turn suggested the creation of, ‘Shared Appreciation Mortgages Group Action’ www.samgroupaction.com as the name for the vehicle

To date the response has been very positive to, SAFE, rwp & www.samgroupaction.com to go ahead with the legal challenge.
